ABOUT MY FAMILY.

My family consists of 4 members actually, my father, Dr. Mujibur Rahman, my mother, Dr. Lutfa Begum and my dear little sister, Tasnuva T Rahman, who is 4 and 1/2 years younger than me. I have many more sisters from my high school, Rakhi sisters. You see I am not such a handsome guy, so they tend to make me their brother. HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Coming back to my original family. My family is a sweet one (Just what everyone thinks about their own family) and a jolly one. My father simply loves to crack silly jokes on my sister. And I love to pick on her. I just love the way she gets annoyed. I am not so obedient to my parents (HARD LUCK), but I do consider myself more obedient than most others. My mother always has someone to blame (especially my sister) when something goes wrong (even if it is her own fault). But still it's a happy family and I am proud of it.All my relatives are in Bangladesh. But I sure do keep in touch with them. It's impossible for me to stay out of touch with them for more than a year! My family and I go there every year by the grace of Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala and we meet our family folks there and man do we have a nice time. That's why as soon as the summer holidays begin I get desperate to meet them.

After I came to the US, I had another family. This one consisted of me and my two roommates. My roommates are Zadeed Nur Ahmed (Adnan), an electrical engineering undergraduate student and Mohammad Mohiuddin Uzzal, an electrical engineering graduate student. Both Adnan Bhaiya and Uzzal Bhai are pretty easily made upset, but are easily made happy as well. In my opinion, it's hard to find such people in the world. Together, we have lots of fun and are an excellent combination of friends(Alhamdulillah!).

MY CHARACTER

I am a gentle person, who doesn't care about what other people think of him. Discipline and logic are my favourite words. I love watching cartoons, listening to Bangla band songs and some Hindi songs, watching TV, playing on the computer etc. I'm a very truthful person (Alhamdulillah) but I'm not very trustworthy, as things tend to leak out from my stomach. I find it very hard to keep secrets. I'm a singer and it's one of my biggest hobbies. If you find some Indian looking guy singing his heart out around the ASU campus, there is a good chance that you're looking at me. I am also a patriot. I can give my life for my country. One thing about me is that I HATE GOSSIPING and I'm proud of it. Somebody starts gossiping with me, my whole conversation will be made up of "Yes", "I agree", "That's true", etc from me. I used to be a very playful boy when I was in Bangladesh (before 1995) but the environment of Saudi Arabia changed me. There was nothing over here that I could play (since I didn't live in Hara or Batha regions) except for on the computer. My favourite game is Soccer though; I play as a goalkeeper. Overall, I'm an extremely optimistic jolly fellow, with a little practical touch. At least that's what I think. The picture explains what I like to do most.

INTRAFADE: MY DREAM, MY PRIDE

Around February' 2004, we founded the very first rock band in our school. We named it Intrafade. It consisted of five members. They included me in the vocals, Artonam (magic hands) in keyboard and vocals, Ishrak in guitar 1, Omar in guitar 2 and Mahfooz as our rhythm and percussions manager (on a second keyboard), since there wasn't a single drummer in our school. Well, this was the line-up during our first and one & only stage performance in March' 2004, which means it is subject to change. Insha-Allah, very soon, the first album of Intrafade, "Seventh Goli", will be in your hands. All of the songs in it will be self-composed (i.e no cover songs). I request all of you to pray for the prosperity of our little band, in this big competitive world.
